DABOLIM: Congress South Goa Candidate Capt Viriato Fernandes today said that money was distributed with police escort in Dabolim constituency, which is a murder of democracy.

“Money was distributed with police escort in the Dabolim constituency, this is a murder of democracy. Instead of giving nimbu paani & soft drinks, the Election Commission should catch these people. I have documentary evidence, I will expose them all soon: Viriato Fernandes,” said Viriato
Capt Fernandes further said that his election campaign was now to ensure a big victory margin.
“This is the confidence of the people who have been working very hard for the Congress because Goans are intelligent and already decided their vote,” he said.
Fernandes has assured the people that he will take up the issues concerning them such as rising unemployment, increasing crime rate which has made touristic Goa into a crime capital of India, injustice faced by small people including SC, ST and fishermen besides the threat of closure of Dabolim international airport.
“We will take the voice of Goans into the Parliament to prevent the damage and save Goa for future generations,” he added.
