PANAJI: The Goa Government has promoted Nitin V.S. Neurekar, Superintending Engineer to the post of Chief Engineer on Ad-hoe basis in Public Works Department, Group “A”, Gazetted in Level 14 in the Pay Matrix under 7th Pay Commission with immediate effect till the date of retirement on Superannuation or till the post is filled on regular basis, whichever is earlier and stands posted as Project Director, JICA on deputation.
The order says the above promotion will not bestow any claim for regular promotion and the services rendered on an ad-hoc basis in the grade will not count for the purpose of seniority in the grade and eligibility for promotion to the next higher grade.
His pay shall be fixed as per the Rules. He may exercise his option for fixation of pay as per the rules.
The Department reserves the right to cancel the above promotion at any time and revert the said officials to the posts from which he is promoted.
The deployment of the Neurekar on deputation to JICA PWD is for the period of one year and shall be governed by the terms and conditions of the Government O.M. no.
13/4/74-PER dated 12.02.1999 and 11.01.2007 as amended from time to time of the Department of Personnel, Secretariat Porvorim.
