In a biggest one day spike Goa recorded 280 cases and three deaths on Saturday as the positive cases cross the 6000 mark.
One Male 77 years from Betim admitted at ESI COVID hospital Margao, with co-morbid conditions died this morning.
Second death was of a male 64 years from Aquem, Margao brought to ESI hospital today with co-morbid conditions and third victim was a 71 year old female from Velsao, admitted at GMC with co-morbid conditions.
There were 227 recoveries reported on Saturday.
The confirmed cases have now reached 6193 while the active cases are 1707. Recovered cases stand at 4438 and the deaths are at 48.
Out of the 5531 samples tested, 2291 were negatives, 280 were positive and 2960 reports pending.
