PANAJI: Opposition leader Yuri Alemao stated that legislators from his party and other opposition parties are prepared to challenge the BJP government on matters that are important to Goa, especially the continuous degradation of the environment, including coal pollution.
Alemao stated that the opposition MLAs would bring up matters of concern through calling attention motions and private member’s resolutions, in addition to the multiple questions they have put forth concerning significant government departments.
Beside Congress State President Amit Patkar and flanked by Congress MLAs Altone D’Costa and Carlos Alvares-Ferreira, Alemao declared that lawmakers from other parties holding the opposition benches would coordinate and work together to hold the government accountable for the ongoing corruption in the administration and reveal the wrongdoings of the Treasury benches.
