CANACONA: Pankaj Naik Gaunkar is installed as the 44th President at the Installation Ceremony of the Board of Directors of Lions Club of Canacona.
Leo Bhavikar Naik is installed as the President of Leo Club of Canacona in a joint installation ceremony held at Molyma Resorts, Rajbag-Canacona on Sunday.
The new team of Canacona Lions includes Secretary Yogita Vernekar, Treasurer Sajjan Naik Gaonkar and the Board of Directors and Canacona Leo Clubs Secretary Aadi Vernekar, Treasurer Sidhant naik Gaonkar were duly installed by IInd Vice-District Governor of District 317-B PMJF Lion Rajshekhar Hiremath.
Earlier the outgoing president Gourish Vernekar welcomed, while Secretary Pavan Rangnekar and Leo Secretary Arth Vernekar presented the respective club’s reports.
The Chief guest for the Installation function was Social Welfare Minister Subhash Faldesai who congratulated the outgoing team for conducting 83 service activities carried out for the year 2023-24 and winning record-breaking awards.
Lions Club of Canacona also felicitated the toppers of Std Xth XII12 of Canacona taluka at the hands of Minister Subhash Faldessai.
Before the Installation ceremony Vanamohotsav program was held planting several saplings.
