BARCEM: A person who had gone from a picnic along with a group of 5 friends in the forest at Barcem died due to drowning yesterday afternoon.
The deceased is identified as Rajendra Velip. As per police, Rajendra allegedly slipped and fell into the lake while he had gone to wash the utensils.
Fire & Emergency Service personnel who were called in by the friends and locals recovered the body from the lake. Cuncolim police are investigating the matter.
