PONDA: Ponda Police arrested one person Mr Maizeem S/o Alex D’ Cruz, age 29 years R/o H.No 2194/1 Vazangal Shiroda Ponda Goa, who is involved in several theft cases of temple church and Dargah in Ponda area.
Police nabbed the said accused and and during interrogation, he confessed his involvement in committing thefts at Katamgal temple, Farmagudi, Chapel near Almeida School and a dargah at Khandepar.
Further investigation is in progress with PSI Nitesh Kankonkar, PSI N. Pinge and HC Suraj Gaude under the supervision of PI Ponda Vijaykumar Chodankar and SDPO Ponda C.L Patil
