PANAJI: Pragati Vidhyalaya, Borim, Ponda Goa U/14 boys team had won 2nd Place in the 4th Goa State Mini U/14 Tennis Ball Cricket Championship organised by Sparkling Sports & Cultural Club in collaboration with Goa Tennis Ball Cricket Association from 10th to 12th April 2024.
Pragati Vidhyalaya had lost to Sharada English High School in the close final match.
The boy’s team was felicitated by the Headmistress of the school Mrs Santana Pinheiro e Colaco in the presence of Mrs Freeda D’Silva, Physical Education Teacher & Nilesh Naik, Coach of the team on 18th April 2024 at the school premises.
The girls team lost in the quarterfinals of the championship. Both teams participated for the first time in the state championship. The team trained by Nilesh Naik.
