PANAJI: Pursonno Warriors won the Cola Premier League, powered by the Goa Tennis Ball Cricket Association in collaboration with Sports Authority of Goa organised tennis ball cricket league at SAG ground Agonda.
A total of 32 matches were played. The final match was played between Mithansh Fighters Pareymol v/s Pursonno Warriors. Pursonno Warriors scored 62/2 in 4 overs Mithansh Fighters chased 62/4 in 4 overs and the match tied and played with a Super over where Mithansh Fighters scored 7/0 in 1 over and Pursonno Warriors scored 11/0 in 0.4 balls.
The finals were by the Pursonno Warriors.
Man of the series and best batsman begged by Suraj Velip from Pursonno Warriors and best bowler Ashok Velip Pursonno Warriors.
In the final Prize distribution ceremony Dr Ramesh Tawadkar Hon’ble Speaker of Goa legislative assembly, cola Sarpanch Krishna Velip, panch Tejal Pagi, Krupesh Velip. Morpirla deputy sarpanch Shri. Prakash Velip and tennis ball cricket head coach Shri. Nilesh Naik was present along with Ramesh Velip, Guru Gaonkar, Sadanand & others.
