QUEPEM: Quepem Police have booked a man for the alleged sexual assault of a minor girl, along with issuing threats, physical assault, and criminal intimidation.
Police said the victim, a resident of Quepem, alleged that between 2020 and August 8, 2025, the accused, who is her brother, sexually assaulted her at multiple locations, including near a forest gate, under a banyan tree, and inside his bedroom in Devsa. He allegedly threatened to kill her if she disclosed the abuse to family members, took nude photographs and videos, and threatened to circulate them on social media.
The victim further alleged that she was assaulted with a wooden rafter during the ordeal. The case is under investigation by LPSI Rifha Barretto of Quepem Police Station.
