Quepem: Students of Shree Chandreshwar Bhootnath Higher Secondary School, Ambaulim, delivered a remarkable performance at the District Kudo Tournament 2026, winning medals in every category they entered and bringing immense pride to the school.
The tournament was held on August 16 at the Indoor Stadium, Pedem, where 13 students from the school competed against some of the district’s finest Kudo athletes. Displaying exceptional skill, discipline and determination, the team finished with an impressive haul of 3 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze medals, ensuring that all 13 participants returned with a podium finish.
The outstanding achievement reflects the students’ dedication and months of rigorous training. The team was led by Renshi Nityanand Juvekar, President of the Kudo Martial Arts Association of Goa, while Neharika Juvekar served as the team’s coach and mentor throughout the competition.
The school management, principal, teachers and staff congratulated the medal winners for their exceptional accomplishment and praised their commitment to competing at the highest level. The school also expressed confidence that its young martial artists will continue to excel in future tournaments and bring more laurels to Quepem and Goa.
