MIRAMAR: A scooter theft case has been registered by Panaji Police Station following a complaint by a taxi driver from Arpora alleging that his rented two-wheeler was stolen from an open parking area near Miramar Circle in Panaji.
According to police, complainant Jeevan Divkar (39), a resident of Arpora, Bardez, stated that accused Anil Tulaskar, son of Devanand Tulaskar, allegedly stole his orange Yamaha Fascino scooter bearing registration number GA03BD2724.
The theft reportedly took place on April 25, 2026, between 4 pm and 5 pm at an open parking space opposite Miramar Circle, Panaji. The stolen scooter is valued at approximately ₹1.15 lakh.
Police said the vehicle bears Engine Number E33SE0769812 and Chassis Number ME1SEK71AR0065934.
Further investigation in the case is being conducted by HC Pandurang Gawas of Panaji Police Station.
