SANGUEM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that Sanguem constituency went 5 years backward from 2017-22, when people voted out Subhash Phaldessai.
“Its pains me to tell that Sanguem constituency went 5 years backward from 2017-22, when people voted out Subhash Phaldessai; Phaldesai had done meticulous planning of the constituency from 2012-17,” said Sawant.
He further said that Subhash had planned to develop the Sanguem constituency and he was also responsible for getting different types of projects to the constituency.
“IIT was for the people of Sanguem and not MLA Subhash Phaldesai. Some people from out of Sanguem come here and speak against the projects,” said Sawant.
He further said that Goa Government is resolute in its dedication to foster human development alongside enhancement of infrastructure development in the state.
He further said that skill centre established with an initiative of TATA Community Initiatives Trust and PES college shall open many opportunities for the youth of Goa.
Sawant said that skill development is one of the primary focus areas under the state government’s Swayampurna Goa 2.0 initiative.
CM said the state government has been undertaking various programmes to boost employability of Goan youth in all sectors.
The state government’s Shiksha Sangam programme will enhance the scope of skilling, upskilling and reskilling, he said, expressing hope that the youth of the state will benefit from the programme.
