Panaji: The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will be conducting selection trials to depute Goa State teams at the 68th National School Games to be held in Madhya Pradesh. The selection trials will be held as follows:
For Kabaddi (U-17 Boys and Girls), the venue is Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Fatorda, Margao on November 07, 2024.
For Badminton (U-14 Boys and Girls and U-19 Boys), the selection date is November 08, 2024, at Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium Navelim, Goa and for Badminton (U-17 Boys and Girls and U-19 Girls), the selection date is November 09, 2024 at Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium Navelim, Goa.

For Chess (U-17 Boys and Girls), the selection date is November 08, 2024, at Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Fatorda, Margao. The reporting time is 9.30 am and the in-charge is Shailesh Gaonkar TSO Ponda Contact number 9823120623 and Shri Prakash Velip TSO Dharbandora 7030638967.
The eligibility for Kabaddi, Badminton and Chess U-14, U-17 and U-19 Boys and Girls are as follows: Eligibility to participate in U-14 yrs group on or after 01-01-2011 and 6thto 12th class; Eligibility to participate in U-17 yrs age group on or after 01-01-2008 and 6thto 12th class; eligibility to participate in U-19 yrs age group on or after 01-01-2006 and 6thto 12th class.
Participants should be regularly enrolled students of the school/junior college they represent and shall report to the Incharge office on respective dates at 9.30 am with their school ID cards/Sports cards and 3 passport-size photographs.
