The South Goa District hospital was commissioned as a designated COVID19 hospital this evening.
The hospital will initially house 150 patients and will be extended upto 350 soon and then if new=ed be to 566, said health minister Vishwajit Rane.
“We will be shifting 30 patients between today and tomorrow and the initially it will take 150,” he said.
The minister said that the HFNO machine are also being shifted to the hospital.
Rane said that the hospital will be managed by the Goa Medical College.
