PANAJI: MGP Supremo Sudin Dhavalikar today said that the state government’s own statement is collaborating with the articles released by them on the Goa Statehood Day which claims that state’s financial condition has been improving.
“I am not sure as the state government’s own statement is collaborating with the articles released by them on the Goa Statehood Day which claims that state’s financial condition has been improving,” said Dhavalikar
He further questioned the state government as to why Goa was begging for pre-release of money during the GST Council Meeting saying the condition was bad.
“When Parrikar was ill, Mauvin was put on the committee but later CM Pramod Sawant should have taken the appointment back.,” he said
Dhavalikar said that the state government had released a statement stating that the Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant had been prudently managing, strengthening and overseeing the State finances by regularly holding meeting with officials of Finance Department and other line departments, deliberating on measures to augment revenue receipts, reducing liability and curtailing wasteful expenditure.
