RAIA: An unknown accused allegedly broke into a house at Raia in Salcete and decamped with ₹2.5 lakh in cash and other imported possessions.
According to the complaint filed by Arusha Pearl, a resident of Navelim, Margao, the theft occurred between 6 pm on October 6 and 11 am on October 8, 2026.
The complainant stated that the unknown accused allegedly gained entry by forcing open the main and rear gates before breaking open a kitchen window to enter the premises.
The accused allegedly stole cash amounting to ₹2.5 lakh along with other imported items before fleeing the scene.
Further investigation is being conducted by LPSI Veronica Coutinho of Maina Curtorim Police Station.
