PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today said that his department was determined to avoid any further delay establish a healthcare system that eliminates the need for people of Pernem to travel to the North District Hospital for treatment.
Min Rane held a discussion with DHS Director regarding the long pending Time Hospital project.
“Our primary goal is to ensure that the hospital is equipped with the best facilities to serve the people of Pernem Taluka. We are committed to creating a center of excellence, similar to Goa GMC, where all necessary healthcare services will be available under one roof” said Rane
He further said that once department gets a handover of the project from GSIDC, we are determined to avoid any further delays and establish a healthcare system that eliminates the need for people of Pernem to travel to the North District Hospital for treatment.
“With facilities comparable to those at GMC, Tuem Hospital will be developed as a Sub-District Hospital. Guided by the vision of PM Narendra Modi for universal healthcare and with the support of CM of Goa, we are dedicated to ensuring that the people of Pernem receive the highest quality medical care,” he informed
Rane also said that he will have a detailed discussion with the CM Dr. Pramod Sawant, and ensure we will have all these facilities at the earliest.
“We are committed to the people of Pernem to create the best healthcare facilities,” minister said
Vishwajit also said that PM Modi’s vision for healthcare in India is transformative and far-reaching, emphasizing accessible, quality healthcare for all citizens, a mission that drives our efforts to eliminate the need for locals to travel far for treatment.
