MAPUSA: An unidentified person’s lifeless body was discovered floating in a well close to the Ganpati Temple in Khorlim, Mapusa, in a terrible occurrence. When Mapusa Fire and Emergency Services arrived on the scene, they got right to work looking into the situation.
The Mapusa fire and emergency services team received a distress call on Friday morning from villagers reporting that the body of an unidentified person had been discovered floating in a well close to Ganpati Temple in Khorlim, Mapusa.
As soon as Mapusa police and firefighters arrived at the scene, a rescue operation to remove the body from the well was launched.
The authorities were unable to locate any information about the man. Nobody knew anything about the victim, despite the fact that villagers and neighbors were questioned about the man’s whereabouts.
The man may have been in his 30s and employed, but the police are unsure about this suspicion. The well was about twenty-three feet deep, with garbage and plastic among the prickly shrubs at the bottom.
An ambulance was dispatched right away, and the deceased was brought to the hospital for a postmortem. More information is awaited while police continue their investigation.
