MARGAO: United Club Verna entered into the quarterfinal by defeating CurtorimGymkhana 2-0 in the inter-village football tournament organised by the St. Sebastian Union Club
at Dando ground, Benaulim.
From the outset, United club Verna dominated, with Eusebio and Clive Fernandes orchestrating play and creating numerous scoring opportunities.
