MAPUSA: Mohammed Usman Gaffar, a 22-year-old Uttar Pradesh native who lives in Joquim Ghateshwar Nagar, Khorlim, Mapusa, Bardez, North Goa, was ambushed by two unidentified attackers while on a stroll.
Authorities acted quickly after Gaffar suffered serious injuries during the vicious attack.
Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers approached Gaffar and started a violent argument that soon turned into a physical assault.
When one of the attackers produced a sharp knife and severely wounded Gaffar, the situation took a terrible turn.
Reports indicate that Gaffar sustained extensive injuries, requiring over 65 stitches across his entire body.
In response to the incident, the Mapusa Police launched a thorough investigation and registered a complaint against the 2 assailants.
The motive behind the attack remains under investigation as authorities work to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for this heinous act.
