PANAJI: MLA Vijai Sardesai today has accused the state government of arm-twisting and extortion in the MPT cargo transport issue.
“How can you say the issue is resolved, Your MLA is involved in arm twisting and extortion in the MPT,” Vijai said.
CM Sawant’s responding dared not to level allegations and said that the issue was already resolved.
Earlier MPA chairman Dr N Vinodkumar said that the MPA does not get involved in the transportation and also does not have any link with the cargo transporters.
Vinodkumar also claimed that he was unsure of MLA Sankalp Amonkar’s involvement in the recent controversial allegations levelled against him.
