PANAJI: Goa Forward Party (GFP) leader Durgadas Kamat has said that Vijai Sardesai’s position on a possible grand alliance is clear, while responding to recent remarks made by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) about the GFP leader.
Kamat said Sardesai is keeping his focus on the views of the people and will come before the public with clarity after Pitru Paksha.
“Vijai Sardesai’s stand is very clear to go for a grand alliance. This is Pitru Paksha; we will take the blessings of our pitra. After Pitru Paksha, Vijai will come in front of the people clearly,” Kamat said.
Responding to questions over AAP’s statement on Sardesai’s political position, Kamat said the GFP leader was closely following public sentiment.
“Vijai’s ears are on the ground. He listens to what people want. What people want will happen,” Kamat said.
