VASCO: Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar on Sunday said that he had been working harder for the Lok Sabha elections compared to his own Assembly elections
Speaking to the media during a massive door-to-door campaigning on Sunday, Amonkar said that he was confident of getting the 80 per cent vote share for the BJP Candidate Pallavi Dempo from the Mormugao constituency
“The people have come out in the scorching heat to campaign door to door for the BJP at grassroots level. This has motivated me further and I have tried not to skip even one house in the door-to-door campaign and reach out to everyone with the message to vote for the BJP. We have to remember that this is not a council, panchayat or assembly election but an election for the betterment and the future of our country and people have to come forward for the sake of the country. We have personally requested people to come out and vote for the BJP so that our candidate Pallavi Dempo can win and the biggest contribution can be from the Mormugao constituency,” said Amonkar.
“This is the 14th day that we have campaigned door to door and we have covered all the 9 wards in my constituency. I have worked harder for this Lok Sabha Elections compared to my Assembly elections and we have had a series of meetings with the people and visits by CM Dr Pramod Sawant, Party President Sadanand Shet Tanavade on multiple occasions and even a huge public meeting attended by CM Dr Pramod Sawant at Baina,” said Amonkar.
Amonkar said that he was confident that the BJP would get a huge lead from the Mormugao constituency
“I have no doubts that we will achieve around 80 per cent of voting for the BJP because the people are all charged up and decided that they will get BJP victorious by a huge margin. I appeal to all the people to come out in large numbers and vote for the betterment of the country by getting the BJP elected at the centre. I have a personal connect with the people but the people who are campaigning along with me have taken a determined call to get maximum voting for the BJP from the Mormugao constituency ” said Amonkar.
