Panaji: The imposters on social media have found a new way of looting well known people through social media platforms.
The Goa police Cyber Crime Police station is receiving several complaints from facebook and WhatsApp users informing that they received a friend request from unknown girl, become friendly and later on start video calls exposing their private parts and inducing to get nude.
According to police, the imposters then then record the entire episode and blackmail the users…
Hence the Ga police has asked the users to be aware and don’t feel prey to such friend requests…
“Many well known and renowned personal of society have become victims of such Facebook users. Be aware and spread,” they said.
