CANACONA – The Southernmost Canacona Taluka has topped the Taluka wise table of Goa SSC Board Exams results declared on Wednesday with a pass percentage of 95.02%, even as 10 of the 19 High-Schools got 100% pass percentage in the Taluka.
Shri Nirakar Vidyalaya (Maxem)-38/38, Govt High School -Agonda (9/9), St. Anne’s Institute, Agonda (55/55), St. Sebastian HS, Loliem (19/19), St. Anthony HS, Galgibaga (43/43), GHS- Gaodngongrim (9/9/), GHS-Khotigao(24/24), SNES-Tudal-Gaondongrim(42/42), GHS-Shristhal (11/11), Balram -A Day Care School, Mokhard -Shristhal (30/30).
Seven(7) Schools -Shri Mallikarjun Vidyalaya, Char-Rasta (43/42), Damodar Vidyalaya, Loliem (49/48), St.Thereza of Jesus, Chaudi (65/59), Shri Katiyani Baneshwari, Kindlem (35/33), Shri Shraddhanand Vidyalaya, Poinguinim (33/32), GHS-Sadolxem (31/29) and GHS Gowal-Khola (21/20) got a pass percentage of over 90%, while two High Schools Shri Balram Residential High School, Amone (69/58) got below 90% and GES’s Gurukul High School, Kazumoll-Khola (37/29 @ 84.06%) got the least of pass percentage of 78.38% in Canacona taluka.
There are 22 pupils with ATKT and declaration of results of 1 candidate from Shri Katiyani Baneshwari Vidyalaya Kindlem is reserved, and 10 candidates from as many as Needs Improvement (NI) including 3(Balram Residential School), and 2 each from GES’s Gurukul and GHS Sadolxem.
