AGACAIM Crime Branch has arrested 11 persons for illegal gambling and IPL betting in Agaccaim.
As per information, 11 accused persons were caught red-handed while playing a card gambling game of chance (Locally known as Andhar Bahar) and also betting among themselves on an IPL cricket match played between Kolkata Night Rider Vs Sunriser Hyderabad.
During the raid, an amount of Rs.1, 13, 500/- and other gambling articles from the accused possession from the spot were seized.
Offence U/Sec 3 & 4 of GDDPG Act stand registered. Supreme Court guidelines were observed during their arrest.
Further investigation under PI Vikas Deykar supervised by DySP Crime and SP Crime.
