With two more deaths reported on Sunday, Goa’s death toll due to COVID19 has now reached 35.
Sunday saw 175 new cases but more importantly 230 patients were either cured or recovered from the COVID19. The total recoveries in the state is now 3277 while the active cases is 1549.
As per the DHS bulletin, two persons did on Sunday one male 63 years from New Vaddem, Vasco and one male 53 years from Zuarinagar, Vasco. Both were admitted in ESI COVID hospital and had co-morbid conditions.
As on today the confirmed cases have reached 4861.
The recovery rate in the state is now 67.7 while the death rate is 0.72 p.c.
