PONDA: Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi-Ponda will now offer a 3-year Part-Time Master of Engineering (Industrial Engineering) program approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Goa University.
This unique ME program is specially meant for engineering professionals working in the state of Goa. The classes are held in the evening so that students can attend classes after working hours. The applicants should have two-years work experience and can have any Bachelor of Engineering Degree to qualify for admission.
Alumni of this program are working at senior positions in various industries in Goa such as Goa Shipyard Ltd-Vasco, Mormugao Port Trust-Mormugao, Zuari Industries Ltd.- Sancole, Deccan fine Chemicals – Corlim, Siemens-Verna, MacBroutEngg. Pvt. Ltd.-Margao, MRF Ltd.- Usgao, CommScope-Verna, CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited-Bethora and Lundaim Lift Controls Private Limited- Khandepar, Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co. Led-Madkai, Pentair Water India Pvt. Ltd. – Verna,etc. Alumni are also working in various departments of Government of Goa, Engineering colleges and Polytechnics in the state.
The Post Graduate degree is eligible for PhD admissions in Centrally Funded Institutions like IIDC, IIT, NIT, Central and State Universities.
