PANAJI: Goa Medical College (GMC) Dean Dr Shivanand Bandekar informed that six cases of black fungus have been reported in the state.
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that his team are also in touch with various expert doctors in the country to see how best we can deal with this.
“Pertaining to the cases of Black Fungus reported at GMC, I would like to mention that our team of doctors headed by Dean Dr. Bandekar are treating the patients with the best and appropriate treatment protocol,” said Rane
He further said that he has been chairing various meetings along with our doctors, experts
“are confident that we will succeed in dealing with the complications of Covid-19 and also bring down the mortalities in the State of Goa.” he added
