PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today announced that governance of municipalities in Goa will be online in the next 15 days.
“In the next 15 days, the affairs of all municipalities in the state will be online,” said Rane while addressing the press conference
He further said that the Municipality Act will be amended for the benefit of the people and all this will be done by taking all stakeholders.
“Software and all other aspects have been done. All services will go online. I have directed that all offline services should be stopped. Some municipalities have their system online, while others are yet to start,” he added.
Rane said that GMC will soon launch an AI Technology App and through the app, people will get the report of their blood test as well as information about what treatment is needed next. MOU to be done soon.
“Goa will be the first state in India to release a health app that uses artificial intelligence to assist patients, according,” informed Rane.
According to Rane, the app was created to make it simple for people to obtain health services, including the ability to upload medical records in an emergency, consult with specialists, and receive other services from home.
On the GARD demands, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane also said that he will take the issues to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and also to the cabinet so that they are discussed and addressed.
“We are totally with the GARD. They have given us a list of several issues pertaining to the type of security which is required. They have demanded the appointment of a Doctor Relation Officer. So one of the doctors will be identified in the next two days,” he said.
He said the commitment of the government will be given to GARD in writing and he will see that the issues raised by the doctors are addressed.
Meanwhile, responding to CM Sawant’s statements, Rane said “He is my CM, and whatever he says is correct,” he added.
