ANJUNA: A Pernem youth was brutally assaulted by three Siolim residents near Domino’s Pizza store in Siolim on Saturday night.
Police has arrested one accused in the case and another minor boy.
As per Anjuna police on Saturday aroun midnight near Dominos Shop, Siolim accused persons namely Vishwadeep Naik, Marna Siolim, Vignesh Chodankar, Prajyot Salgaonkar, Tukaram Dabholkar, with their common intention alighted from one Black colour Thar vehicle bearing Reg. no. GA 03 R 7154 and assaulted the complainants friend namely Sahil Gadekar r/o Nagzar Pernem, with knife on his upper body wherein caused him serious injuries.
They further assaulted the complainant namely Laxman Sawant r/o Dhargal Pernem, with fist blows, slaps and kicks thereby causing simple injuries to him.
Further one of the said accused person picked one laterite stone which was there at the spot and smashed the same on the motorcycle bearing Reg.No. GA-11-J-4071 which the complainant was riding.
In this connection registered Anjuna PS Cr. No. 47/2024 U/s 326, 323, 427 r/w 34 of IPC.
During the course of Investigation arrested one accused person namely Vishwadeep Naik, r/o H.no. 155/B, Cruz Vaddo, Marna Siolim.
Further one of the person involved in this case is minor in Age and accordingly the said CCL is produced before the JJB Member.
Further investigation in this case is in progress under the supervision of Shri. PI Prashal P. N. Desai of Anjuna PS, Shri.
Sandesh Chodankar SDPO Mapusa and under overall supervision of Shri. Akshat Kaushal, IPS SP North Porvorim.
