Anjuna Police arrest 6 Nigerian nationals for overstaying

ANJUNA: Anjuna Police, based on intelligence inputs, conducted a raid and arrested six Nigerian Nationals for not possessing legal travel documents to stay in India.

As per information, a raid was conducted and upon checking found Dion S/o Robert Albert, age 31yrs, Ivory Coast National R/o near Petrol Pump, Parra, Bardez, Goa, (2) Uche Joy Okafor age 36 yrs Nigerian National R/o 1″ Floor Tropical Dream Oxel Siolim Bardez, Goa, Ebuka Chiuba s/o Godwin Obiekme, age 37 yrs. Nigerian National, presently residing at Parra, Bardez Goa, Onyibor Michael Okwudili, age 23 yrs, is currently living at Parra, Bardez Goa.

Further, Joseph Ndulue, age 39 yrs, Nigerian National r/o Bengaluru, Karnataka at present at Siolim, Bardez Goa and Emmanuel Aluma, age 32 yrs, Nigerian National r/o Villa- Abrahim, Opp. Shiv Mandir, Dwarka, Sector 19, Delhi at present Siolim, Bardez Goa without possessing valid travel documents.

In this connection registered Anjuna PS Cr. No. 139/2021U/s 7(1)(3)(iii) of Foreigners Order 1948 punishable U/s 14 of Foreigners Act 1946

Dion S/o Robert Albert, age 31yrs, Ivory Coast National R/o near Petrol Pump, Parra, Bardez, Goa, was earlier arrested in Anjuna PS Cr. No. 95/2021 U/s 21(a) of NDPS and was on bail.

Uche Joy Okafor age 36 yrs Nigerian National R/o 1st Floor Tropical Dream Oxel Siolim Bardez, Goa, was earlier arrested in Anjuna PS Cr. No. 24/2020 U/s 21 (b) of NDPS Act.

Ebuka Chiuba s/o Godwin Obiekme, age 37 yrs, Nigerian National, presently residing at Parra, Bardez Goa, was earlier arrested in Anjuna PS Cr. No. 38/2015 u/s 21(b) of NDPS Act & Anjuna PS Cr. No. 69/2016 u/s 3(2)(a) & 6(a) Passport entry into India Rule 1950, sec 3 & 4 of Passport Entry into India 1920 and sec 7 (i) (iii) Foreigners Order 1948 & sec 14 of Foreigners Act 1946.

Onyibor Michael Okwudili, age 23 yrs, Nigerian National presently residing at Parra, Bardez Goa, was arrested by Crime Branch Police Station Crime No. 138/2019 u/s 21 (a) of NDPS Act, Sec. 7(1)(3) of the Foreigners order 1948 r/w section 14 of foreigners Act, 1946 & Section 3(a)&6(a) of Passport Entry into India rule 1950 & Sec. 3 r/w 4 of passport Entry Act, 1920.

The Supreme court recently judgement if other countries person has no proper documents to stay, then he should be punished.
