BICHOLIM: In yet another assurance for the Mayem locals, the chief minister, Dr Pramod Sawant told that the pending sanads of the Evacuee property would be given soon.
The CM made this announcement at a programme held at Mayem in Bicholim.
“BJP brought up this new Act and tried to solve the issue of custodian. I and the Mayem MLAs tried to streamline the process. We are binding on our words and the remaining sanads would be given to the people of Mayem” CM told.
He said that mining companies should compensate the farmers and appreciated the Chougule mining company for compensating 174 farmers.
“We demand that the farmers should also take the benefit of all the schemes of the government. Even there would be amendment done in the housing schemes and all the weaker sections would get benefit of the same” Dr Sawant told.
In terms of infrastructure development in Mayem the CM told that no work would be left pending for lack of fund. He told that lockdown is not only the solution for covid-19 and that the only solution is by taking all the precautions. He urged all to take vaccine and there is no threat for taking the vaccine.
“121 services we have made available online and all should take benefit of the same.” He told. He urged all other mining companies to compensate farmers.
