PANAJI: In view of rising cases in the state, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has appealled all citizens who are eligible for taking the vaccine to come forward and get vaccinated.
Rane also urged the citizens to follow all the SOPs of wearing a mask & following strict social distancing as per govt. Direction.
“With the surge in cases, it is my appeal to those. A vaccine will act as a protective layer against the virus. Those eligible for the vaccine should not shy away,” Rane said
He further his department will interacting with expert committee on steps to be taken to keep the virus under control.
As per the guide lines of Government of India from today all the people above 45 years will be given the dose of covid vaccine in the state of Goa.
The above vaccine will be given in all the government hospitals free of cost and at government empanelled private hospitals after payment of Rs 250 rs per dose
“All the eligible people are requested to go to vaccination centres with their adhar card or any other government approved photo identity card and get themselves vaccinated,” he added
