Team Goemkarponn Curchorem: Curchorem police have arrested a former branch manager of a bank in Curchorem for allegedly conspiring with a woman to cheat customers, mainly senior citizens, by diverting funds meant for fixed deposits into her personal account without their knowledge. The accused, a resident of Pontemol and native of Satara, Maharashtra, allegedly referred customers seeking information to the woman, who posed as a recovery agent but was not a bank employee.
