The Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services (DFES) said the integration aims to bring fire and rescue emergencies under a single emergency-response platform. The deceased has been identified as Zakeer Khan, 54, son of Anwar Khan, a resident of Harihar in Davangere, Karnataka.
