The 23-year-old Manipur lady who was the victim alleged to the police that Singh had forced her to have sex against her will. Both the victim and the accused worked at the hotel where the event happened in the staff room. Goemkarponn desk Margao: Veteran Freedom Fighter Shashikala Hodarkar Almeida passed away on Monday, 2nd September 2024 in Pune and was cremated on the same evening at Vaikunth Smashan Bhumi in Pune. She was the wife of Freedom Fighter Anstasio Almeida Sister of Freedom Fighter Ramesh Hodarkar and Corporate Director Aravind Hodarkar. Born on 23rd June 1931 at Ponda, she bravely participated in the Goa Liberation Movement under the banner of “National Congress” led by Freedom Fighter Sindhutai Joshi.
