The accused is identified as Prashant Bastadkar from Khanapur, Belgaum. As per police, Prashant clicked objectionable photos of the girl and by threatening to make the photos viral he sexually assaulted the girl for nearly two years. The decision was taken during the Project Approval Board (PAB) meeting of PM-USHA. The amount approved for Goa University under the scheme is Rs 999,920,109. To transform Goa University into MERU, the erstwhile departments of the University have already been amalgamated into various Schools based on their functional similarities.
