Goemkarponn desk MARGAO: Konkan Railway has recovered over Rs 2.17 crore fines from 9,548 ticketless travellers in the month of January 2024. “Konkan Railway has been continuously conducting intensive ticket checking drives. In the month of January 2024 a total of 9,548 unauthorized / irregular travelers were detected without tickets and were penalized. A total of ₹2,17,97,102/- was recovered from fines”, stated KRC.
