Goemkarponn desk PANAJI: The state government will introduce a new scheme for Konkani and Marathi schools wherein 10% non-salary maintenance grants will be given for these schools, subject to the availability of funds with the Education department. The earlier scheme of Rs 400 per student per month started under Education Medium Policy and was discontinued during covid pandemic.
