Goemkarponn desk PANAJI: Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) has granted in-principle approval to offshore casinos operating on the Mandovi river, however, the authority is yet to receive the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) reports from them. Ponda, Curti, Marcaim, Borim and parts of Bandora after the main 750 mm dia water pipeline burst at Curti near Sateri Temple. According to officials, the pipeline exploded late at night on Wednesday, and they resumed work on repairing the pipeline. The locals said the pipeline was damaged and lakhs of water was wasted.
