Police said that an investigation is currently on to ascertain the cause of the accident and who might be at fault. The driver was transporting the stones for a project by the water resources department when one of the truck’s rear tyres fell into the open pit. As per information, all the four labourers are natives of Agra, Uttar Pradesh and were working inside the STP chamber hole when the tragedy struck.
