Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant announced that every rural household in Goa now has access to potable water. “The State of Goa had a coverage of 87.11% with piped water connections as on 1st April 2020,” he said. He stated that the State of Goa proudly announces that all the Rural Households in the State have access to potable water and 100% target is achieved. “I appeal to the households who are having their own source of water for drinking purpose to come forward if PWD piped water connections are required,” he said.

Panjim In all 45.98 per cent students cleared the SSC supplementary examination held in September. The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) had held SSC supplementary examination from September 15-22. Total 1342 students had appeared for the examination of which 617 cleared it. The pass percentage of girls stood at 49.40 per cent while 43.27 per cent boys cleared the exam.
