In what to be a major setback to the government employees, the Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has grant his assent to the Goa (Regulation of House Building Advance) Ordinance, 2020 and also taken away rights of the employees to challenge the decision in the Court of law. Heated discussions took place as the government has initiate a dialogue between the locals and the ministers or the 400KV transmission line from Sangold Mollem. The South Goa District hospital was commissioned as a designated COVID19 hospital this evening. The hospital will initially house 150 patients and will be extended upto 350 soon and then if new=ed be to 566, said health minister Vishwajit Rane. “We will be shifting 30 patients between today and tomorrow and the initially it will take 150,” he said. The minister said that the HFNO machine are also being shifted to the hospital. Rane said that the hospital will be managed by the Goa Medical College.

Panaji: Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte has demanded that the new building of GMCH should be converted into exclusive COVID-19 facility while restoring the present infrastructure to treat other ailments.
