Goemkarponn desk PANAJI Drishti lifesavers prevented an attempted suicide off Candolim beach while also rescuing two male kayakers at Palolem over the weekend after their kayak toppled mid-sea, putting their lives at risk. At Candolim beach, alert lifeguards responded to cries from a waiter at a beach shack about a fully-clothed man who had suddenly flung himself into the sea, making no obvious effort to swim.
