PANJIM: State government has constituted a dedicated cell to follow up matters related to the Mhadei River Water Dispute.
The cell termed as ‘Mhadei River Water Dispute Cell’ will be headed by WRD Executive Engineer Dilip Naik.
“Government has conveyed its approval for formation of Mhadei River Water Dispute Cell vide entry No. 2015 dated 27.07.2021 of the Secretary (WR) within the Administrative control of Water Resources Department,” the order states
The order further states that office of the Executive Engineer IX, along with its Sub Division will nos function under the Mhadei River Water Dispute Cell, and the Executive Engineer IX. now be called as Executive Engineer (Mhadei Cell)
“The Executive Engineer shall coordinate directly with the Oo. Ed Advocate General on all matters relating to the “Mhadei River Water Dispute Cell”, and ke necessary action for appropriate approval of Governmen,”it reads
