Goemkarponn Desk PONDA: PMC Chief Officer Yogiraj Goasavi yesterday late evening issued a fine of Rs 5000 for vendor at Ponda for dumping chicken waste into nullah as per provisions of law. According to Chief officer the incident took place late evening yesterday when he noticed some vendors dumping chicken waste into main nullah causing pollution into nullah. He said though PMC workers collect waste on regular basis some vendors dump it into nullah. He urged locals to report such incident to PMC as nullah and public places belongs to people and need to maintain clean.
