Goemkarponn desk PANAJI: The Goa Government has swung into action after it observed that several “ineligible” persons have benefited from a financial assistance scheme meant for Building and other Construction Workers as COVID relief. The Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board have issued show-cause notices to those illegal beneficiaries. “Scheme had been availed by several ineligible persons who claimed to be building and other construction work as per the Scheme framed by the said Board under the Act constituting the Board,” the Board said.
