In a major decision the National Green Tribunal has given State three more month’s time to submit the Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP). The State now has to submit the plan by December 31, 2020, sources said. The NGT has also asked the Secretary MoEF to intervene in the matter to find a plausible means with NCSCM, Chennai to expedite preparation of CZMP.
